The Fuxman Bass lab ( in the Biology Department at Boston University is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative post-doctoral researcher with a background in molecular biology, genomics or a related field to join our team. The lab is broadly interested in transcriptional regulation in healthy and pathogenic conditions, and integrates high-throughput protein-DNA mapping assays, CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing, bioinformatics, systems biology, and cell biology approaches. Main projects associated with this position include:
- Determine how virally-encoded transcription factors hijack the host’s gene regulatory networks to modulate immune responses.
- Studying the transcriptional regulation of pluripotency and trophoblast master regulators in early mammalian embryo development.
We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative scientist who will be responsible for designing and executing studies in one or more of the above topics. Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, bioinformatics, and/or genomics are recommended.
