Position Summary

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Main Street Properties is seeking a Real Estate Relocation Coordinator to assist the Relocation Director in all functions of the Relocation Department including all destination services, marketing assistance, and growth of the department. This role is responsible for coordinating the relocation process for partner program, broker to broker, outgoing, and corporate employee referrals. Serving as the primary point of contact for relocation clients, agents, and referral partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, solutions and detail-oriented, and thrives in a deadline-driven environment while upholding our brokerage’s values, culture, and brand standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact to coordinate and manage relocation and referral real estate transactions from initial intake through closing
  • Manage and accept referrals
  • Place referrals with an agent or outside broker and ensure customer contact is made in a timely manner
  • Request and track updates for referrals on an ongoing basis
  • Act as a liaison between agent and referral source and assist with problem solving issues that may arise, communicating clearly and professionally with all parties involved
  • Follow up through closing to ensure all parties are paid their referral fee in a timely manner and accurately in conjunction with the finance department
  • Explain referral process to agents who have an out of area referral and work in partnership with them to identify a receiving agent to assist their client.
  • Assist with managing multiple referral source teams consisting of 30–40 agents in total
  • Track contracts, deadlines, compliance requirements, and referral documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform data entry and ongoing file management across multiple systems and platforms
  • Monitor transaction milestones and proactively identify and resolve issues before they escalate
  • Ensure all transactions adhere to real estate protocols, brokerage policies, and relocation guidelines
  • Support leadership initiatives related to relocation and referral growth
  • Consistently align with and represent the brokerage’s values, culture, and brand-driven standards of excellence

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files, transactions, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-focused problem solver
  • Ability to work efficiently across multiple software programs and systems
  • Strong customer service orientation with a professional demeanor
  • Working knowledge of real estate transactions and standard industry protocols
  • Proficiency or familiarity with:

    • Google Workspace
    • Canva
    • Dotloop
    • MLS platforms

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in real estate, transaction coordination, and/or relocation services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active real estate license
  • Previous relocation or referral management experience
  • Prior experience coordinating real estate transactions from contract to close preferred
