*TITLE: Automotive Mechanic*

*HOURS: *8 hours per day/12 months per year

*QUALIFICATIONS: *

Thorough knowledge of standard automotive repair methods and of the terminology and tools of the trade.

Ability to make repairs to heavy automotive and other mechanical equipment.

Good knowledge of the operation of buses.

Good knowledge of the geography of the district.

Good knowledge of safety procedures and traffic laws and regulations.

Good motor and hand and eye coordination.

Two (2) years of experience as a skilled automotive repairman; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Possession of a Class B NYS driver’s license with P and S endorsements. (Will train)

*SALARY: As per CSEA contract (currently $29.34/hr) *

*START DATE: ASAP *

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.34 per hour
