Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in Lake Zurich, IL, this contract position seeks a skilled Social Worker to support student well-being in a dynamic school environment. This role involves working directly with two primary schools, with additional support provided to others as needed. The position requires in-person presence 2-3 days per week, with a strong preference for three days to effectively engage with the school communities. Key Responsibilities: * Provide social work services to students across Shiloh Park and West school settings. * Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement intervention plans. * Address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. * Support crisis intervention and provide ongoing counseling and support. * Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school policies and state regulations. * Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team coordination. Qualifications: * Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) required. * Experience in school-based social work services highly preferred. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Employment Details: * Location: Lake Zurich, IL * Contract duration: Immediate start through June 5, 2026, with emergency days pending. * Work setting: In person, primarily at Shiloh Park and West schools, servicing multiple schools as needed. * Schedule: 2-3 days per week, with a preference for three days on site.
