*Duties and Responsibilities*
* Perform full-service grooming, including bathing, clipping, brushing, and breed-standard or client-specific cuts.
* Prioritize pet safety and well-being throughout the grooming process
* Build strong, positive relationships with pet parents
* Recommend appropriate products to enhance the pet’s care and appearance
* Maintain grooming area cleanliness, organization, and sanitation
* Use store scheduling and POS systems as needed
* Attend meetings and trainings
* Work collaboratively with the store and grooming team members
* Perform other duties and projects as assigned
*Qualifications*
* Minimum 2 years of hands-on professional dog grooming experience required
* High school diploma or GED required
* Formal grooming education or certification preferred
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
* Ability to work well in a team and independently
* Comfortable using grooming tools, scheduling software, xkmhxrz and basic computer programs
*Work Environment & Physical Requirements*
* Active grooming environment with tubs, dryers, tables, and equipment
* Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 45 pounds
* May require travel to other locations, meetings, or events, occasionally before or after store hours
* Variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required
* Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
