Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting to ensure financial accuracy and integrity while supporting strategic decision-making at Rivian. This role will be responsible for general ledger maintenance, month-end close, financial analysis, and audit support, while also driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial excellence as Rivian continues to scale its mission of sustainable transportation.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies from account reconciliation.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance the reconciliation process, streamline workflows, and implement best practices for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Performing first-level reviews of the work prepared by the Accenture India team.
• Preparing the initial documentation for new recurring journal entries or account reconciliations.
• Preparing and posting non-recurring journal entries.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance is a must.
• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting and/or industry.
• SOX Exposure: SOX & public company exposure.
• Communication and Problem-Solving: Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Process Improvement: Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Adaptability: Ability to be adaptable to changes.
• Attention to Detail: Attention to detail.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA Certification: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred or intent to be a CPA required.
• Industry Experience: Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or technology industry.

Salary Range for MI based applicants: $98,500 - $130,480 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).
