Position Overview
We’re looking for a Lead Bartender who embodies both craft and hospitality. This role is for someone who takes pride in precision, thrives in a dimly lit room buzzing with conversation, and enjoys guiding a team to deliver exceptional service night after night.

As Lead Bartender, you’ll help uphold the standards of our cocktail program, support the development of the bar team, and ensure every guest feels like they’ve discovered something special.  This role will be leading a team of craft bartenders to curate the perfect balance of hospitality, theory and method.  This intimate space will be serving a scratch made cocktail using all house made syrups and fresh juices with only the top hand picked spirits.

Key Responsibilities

Craft & Service

• Lead the bar during service, setting the tone for professionalism, efficiency, and hospitality.
• Prepare classic and contemporary cocktails with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
• Engage guests with warmth, confidence, and knowledge of spirits, ingredients, and cocktail history.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar that reflects the polished yet understated style of a speakeasy.

Cocktail Program

• Execute the cocktail menu to exact standards and presentation.
• Collaborate with management on constant improvement and growth with a focus on the classics.
• Maintain prep standards for syrups, garnishes, and house ingredients.

Team Leadership

• Serve as a mentor and resource for bartenders and hosts.
• Assist with training new team members on cocktail specs, service style, and bar workflow.
• Help cultivate a bar team that moves with rhythm, precision, and mutual respect.

Operations

• Assist with inventory management, ordering support, and weekly counts.
• Maintain proper storage and organization of spirits, tools, and bar ingredients.
• Support efficient prep and service practices that reduce waste and maintain quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years bartending experience in a craft cocktail bar or similar environment
• Strong understanding of classic cocktails, spirits, and modern techniques
• Natural leadership presence and ability to guide a team during service
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Strong organization and ability to stay composed during busy service

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in cocktail bars, speakeasies, or hospitality-driven concepts
• Familiarity with amaro, aperitifs, and classic cocktail traditions
• Interest in cocktail history and evolving craft cocktail culture

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and late-night service
