Quick Facts Location: 95 Judge Tanner Boulevard, Covington, LA 70433 Start Date: 06/22/2026 End Date: 06/21/2027 (with possibility of extension) Shift: Night shift (3x10-hour shifts, 20 00) (alternating 8 days on, 6 days off) Hours/week: 30 hours/week Employment Type: Contract License/Certifications: Valid LA license, ASCP certification Experience: 2+ years hospital clinical laboratory experience; Epic experience preferred Weekend Requirement: Yes Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $56.16/hour Pay Package: Discussed upon application Benefits include: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other relevant expenses 24/7 dedicated support team committed to your success What You ll Do Perform clinical laboratory testing in core lab and blood bank departments Follow standardized procedures to ensure accurate and timely results Maintain quality control and quality assurance activities Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care Comply with all hospital policies and safety standards Utilize Epic LIS for specimen processing and data entry Support trauma level II laboratory services as needed What You Need Valid Louisiana Medical Laboratory Technician license ASCP certification required Minimum of 2 years hospital clinical laboratory experience Strong technical skills in laboratory testing and analysis Ability to work night shifts and weekends Excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a leading hospital in Covington, LA, offering a dynamic and supportive environment for laboratory professionals.
