Location: TOOLMASTER HAWAII in Lihue
We want to hear from you if you’re a dependable, detail-oriented technician who thrives in a self-managed position. You must be experienced, organized, friendly, and have a positive attitude.
This is a unique opportunity for the right individual. Toolmaster operates two hoists in Lihue, Kauai. We specialize in fleet maintenance, and we currently service county vehicles, local businesses, and a growing number of commercial accounts. The job requires you to be self-managed and prioritize repairs professionally to ensure timely and quality repairs for our clients.
We offer a full-service auto shop with state-of-the-art equipment, including an alignment rack.
The job pays flat rate - we schedule repairs based on your work ability and availability.
Schedule is Monday - Friday with Holidays off.
We are flexible with employment; you can be W4 or W9, depending on your preference and availability. This is an excellent position for an aspiring business owner or a mobile technician who would like to gain experience in a full-service shop.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles and equipment
Write your service orders using our Identifix software, and place part orders as needed
Perform maintenance and safety checks (not certified for safety checks? xkmhxrz We can get you there)
Communicate clearly with customers and service advisors
Maintain clean, safe work standards
Requirements:
Current ASE Certification, A1-A8 \*\*\* If you are not fully certified but believe you are the right individual for this opportunity, reach out to us. For the right person under contract, we are willing to finance certifications pay we vary based on experience and skill \*\*\*
Your own tools
Valid driver’s license
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, we are looking for at least 3-5 years of experience
