Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

As an ER Registered Nurse, you will provide both direct and indirect patient care, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and responsibility with minimal supervision. Your ability to triage safely and accurately, while assessing both physical and psychosocial needs, is crucial to ensuring efficient patient flow. You will communicate effectively with ER Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers about patient status changes and diagnostic results, and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition or treatment response.

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency setting
• Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and responsibility
• Triage patients safely and accurately
• Communicate with ER Physicians and APPs regarding patient status
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Guide Emergency Department techs and registration staff
• Receive direction from Emergency Department Leaders and Providers
• Required: Active RN license, BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC
